About Alan
Alan is a director of the firm and head of our Personal Injury Department. He is an experienced solicitor with a deep and broad knowledge of all aspects of personal injury litigation. He regularly obtains six figure settlement sums for our seriously injured clients.
Alan is also an experienced employment lawyer, specialising in discrimination, and regularly appears in the Employment Tribunal. He has particular expertise in settlement agreements and disability & pregnancy discrimination and has experience acting for vulnerable clients.
His recent tribunal successes include Banks v Lloyds Bank Plc (2023): a claim for pregnancy discrimination and constructive unfair dismissal arising from unfavourable treatment and failure to implement equality policies.
He is a skilled negotiator and works hard to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.
Although hailing from Liverpool, Alan is more interested in fishing than football and regularly enters competitions up and down the country.
He is a proud father of four boys.
